Deja Vu all over again?

Image
We just came through the "Ice Storm to Remember".  Thank God that no one & no buildings were damaged, (just a downed section of fencing).  We now have lots of clean-up & the driveway's are covered with 1" of solid ice. The day of the storm, the temps were hovering at just above freezing, then as the sleet / rain began to cease, the temps started dropping and we are now in the mid teens. BURRRRRRRRRR! Some of the aftermath is quite beautiful! Limbs encapsulated by water. Icicle's galore! Tess saw a chance to "explore" Heavy limbs, but no damage as yet. A limb & a Cedar tree block the camps driveway! Here is the newest skating rink! The "escape pod" is inaccessible at the moment. We were in another "Ice Storm" in North Dakota, April 2011.  They seem to follow us around. Our packing continues, Merry Christmas Ever

This Snow Will Remain

Image
Hello everyone. As we wind closer to Christmas, Holly & I are packing. Yes, packing the house to exit Canada and return to USA! Our attempt to renew our Work Permits has been refused and as of October 15th we have been instructed to exit the country. Many attempts to resolve this issue were made, but eventually we had to set a date and begin making plans to move. We have gotten a bit of snow in the last week, hence the title for this post.  This snow will remain, (too cold and no warm temps in sight), but we will be leaving! Some camp winter pix's. Tess saying goodbye to all her friends, Eh! The squirrels are not going to miss Tess. Our house, from the backyard! 188 is warm & cozy! Inside isn't so cozy.  We are packing boxes and putting them under the tree for U-Haul Clause to pick up! The art studio will be packed secure & ready for Holly to start her new career!

Photo Time??

A friend of the Camp's, Karl, came to spend the summer at the camp. Karl is a great Bible teacher and photographer.  He led the young staff in Bible Studies and did photo shoots for anyone who was interested. It was a fun evening!

Turns out there is one in Buffalo New York.  It is an Italian place called Mulberry's.  We drove out of Buffalo ...... Past this, And this....... Turned this corner and found the restaurant in the neighborhood. Weird location but delicious food. Pete enjoying shrimp and pasta. Pete found this Robin's nest, which I carried all over the grounds till I found the right tree to put it in for  a photo session.  Staged Photo!  But th
